Starting in the computer business way back in the days of IBM Mainframes I have been involved in systems and programming with experience in most business applications including Booking and Availability systems. I have also created and run a full online service bureau for the outdoor advertising industry and much much more. I have also created and run several computer service companies in my time gathering a good deal of business knowledge in the process which is invaluable when creating any type of business administration systems conventional or web based.

I have accumulated a great deal of knowledge enabling me to provide relevant practical solutions to business problems and a wide range of applications. In common with many people in the computer business I have moved to web based solutions. The principles are the same as before but the tools and methods have changed somewhat, with the development of new languages and tools for the web making life a lot simpler.

I took the decision to use PHP and Mysql as my main platform for development. The main reason was the popularity and accessibility of both products. The other important feature is the huge community of users out there on the web. If you need help, a snippet of code or just basic help it’s just a click or two away. There is also a mass of off the shelf applications to choose from at very low cost and in some cases free. With my experience I feel I can readily understand the requirements of the client and provide a low cost and effective solution for any request.
